ImpairNet™It is the industry's most dense 1GE, 10GE and 40GE test solutions for simulating network damage in real life. ImpairNet tests various applications running on WAN and provides unparalleled scale, ease of use and measurement accuracy.

ImpairNet load modules adopt a single slot design and are inserted into high-density XM2 or XM12 frames, thus providing a configuration of up to 12 modules for each frame. These load modules provide 4x1GE, 4x10GE, or 2x40GE interfaces, and simulate 64, 32, or 8 through 8 unidirectional configuration data on Ethernet paired with each port.

ImpairNet and Ixia's Layer 2 to Layer 3 flow generator modules are in the same frame, thus providing unprecedented scale proportions and simulating various damage test networks. Through Ixia's integrated user interface, users can save time and effort. The interface supports rapid configuration of Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic and network damage. An easy-to-use interface enables users to access the unique integration of traffic generation and related damage configurations. By generating many related protocol fields in the classification configuration, users can customize to meet various testing requirements and ensure that simplified damage tests are created. In addition, ImpairNet can interact with IxN2X, IxLoad, third-party traffic generators, and real-time network traffic.
