Ixia's XGS12-HS 12 is a modular frame with 12 slots, providing the most comprehensive solution for performance, function and conformance testing of network equipment and network applications. With Ixia industry-leadingIxLoadandBreakingPointtest application software and automation API are used in combination, and the XGS12-HS frame is large-scale4-7layer testing provides the required functions and performance.

XGS12-HS frame supports a new generation of PerfectStorm applications and safety load modules, as well as other XM load modules. The XGS12-HS frame is equipped with a high-performance processor module. Combined with the PerfectStorm Fusion load module, this unified platform is used to execute IxLoad and BreakingPoint applications, and the test solution provided has the highest application performance and scale in the industry.

XGS12-HS has a front-to-back airflow system to ensure that all Ixia's highest density load modules can operate efficiently. The modular architecture maximizes the serviceability of the XGS12-HS. Each major system component can be replaced on site. Fan modules, power supply modules, processor modules, etc. are designed as structures that are easy to install and disassemble. All Ixia's XM load modules support hot plug to ensure a highly flexible and multi-user test environment. XGS12-HS supports IxiaPerfectStorm boards and XM boards, providing seamless integration with existing Ixia test systems.

Power Cords

Three power cords are required to operate the XG12 chassis power supplies for normal operating conditions.

NoiseThe XGS12-HS chassis running at maximum fan speed capacity may produce noise levels up to 87 dB(A). This is measured per the GR-63-CORE, Issue 1, and paragraph 5.6.3 specification. The use of appropriate ear protection is recommended to protect against hearing impairment. Consult local health and safety regulations for recommended maximum exposure levels for noise and ear protection devices.
Note:Fan speed is variable and adjusted based on present load and temperatures within the chassis
